ABU DHABI, 25th April, 2025 (WAM) -- On Thursday, April 24, 2025, the National Search and Rescue Center, in coordination with the National Guard Coast Guard Unit, successfully rescued 10 Asian nationals from a commercial ship that caught fire while at sea.

Emergency teams responded immediately and carried out the operation with top safety standards. All individuals were evacuated safely, with no injuries reported.

The operation highlights the National Guard's continued commitment to maritime security and rapid emergency response.
